HWF Hogged Wood Fuel

Hogged Wood Fuel consists of a mix of ground wood residues, sawdust, shavings, bark or solid wood offcuts or pieces that have been produced by grinding in a wood hog.

Fuel Pellets (extruded)

Fuel Pellets (extruded) shall consist of processed wood fiber that has been compressed into uniform pellets not exceeding 2 inches in any dimension.

Fuel Logs (extruded)

Fuel Logs (extruded) shall consist of processed wood fiber that has been compressed into logs or bricks.

Fuel Chips

Chipped wood sized in uniform pieces less that 2 inches x2 inches x 1/2 inch with the fines removed.

Charcoal

Charcoal is the lightweight black carbon and ash residue produced by removing water and other volatile constituents from animal and vegetation substances

Fire Wood

Fire Wood shall consist of prepared wood suitable for burning in sizes not exceeding 12 inches and free of all small pieces under 4 inches x 4 inches x 1 inch

Other Wood Fuels

Other Wood Fuels may contain all other miscellaneous wood that may be used as fuels that are not included in the listed grades.
